The installation of Atmosphäre’s 320 seats on a telescopic stand has increased the value associated with the Cégep’s offering, which in turn benefits from additional revenues previously unattainable.
In March 2015, Cégep de Sainte-Foy consulted Atmosphäre for a feasibility study to add seating to its gymnasium. The addition of these seats would enable the Cégep to welcome more spectators, and thus generate additional revenue during various sporting and cultural events.
Following a study and analysis of the equipment available, the Cégep launched its call for tenders, with our MAXAM seating from Hussey Seating as the reference product, which meets the highest standards on the market. Our team was given the mandate to transform this public space.
Since the completion of Atmosphäre, the grandstand has been handled 2 to 3 times a week and is mostly closed, hence the need for a canvas to protect it, as well as serving as a tool.

Canadian Women’s College Basketball Championship, Provincial Basketball Championship, various speakers, etc. Several events have taken place since the space was modified, and feedback from users seems unanimous: they’re very satisfied, as the new seating is comfortable and closer to the action.
