The municipality of Saint-Mathieu called on Atmosphäre to install a modular Pumpack in their municipal park.
The project, first initiated in 2020, was a collaborative effort to meet the needs of the municipality and its citizens. The project evolved rapidly over the weeks following installation, and given the popularity of the circuit, a recent expansion was completed in 2021.
In fact, the possibility of building a project in several phases was introduced right from the start of the process. The modular Pumptrack was ideal for such an evolutionary project, as it can be modified quickly and easily.
Phase 1
The municipality of Saint-Mathieu has decided to offer its citizens a Pumptrack course to encourage physical activity and provide a stimulating, challenging course suitable for all wheeled sports. With the help of our specialist advisors, they decided on an oval course with bumps and tight turns.
The excitement surrounding the arrival of the Pumptrack track in the municipality was immediate. The modular track is for everyone: toddlers on balance bikes, youngsters on bicycles or roller skates;
… or scooters, as well as thrill-seeking adults!
Noting the great popularity of their installation, the municipality has decided to expand it in 2021 by adding modules, much to the delight of Pumptrack users.
Phase 2
To extend the invigorating experience offered by the Pumptrack, we opted for a four-turn configuration by adding modules, increasing the rolling surface by 29 linear meters!
To create this renewed experience, parts of the track could easily be dismantled to integrate the new sections and create an even more breathtaking experience. The Pumptrack’s modular concept makes it easy to rearrange.
A Pumptrack with multiple configurations!
The same modules can also be used to configure the track differently. In the case of the Saint-Mathieu Pumptrack, 3 different configurations are possible with the modules chosen. In doing so, the redesigned Pumptrack once again recreates the sensation of novelty. All this is possible without the need to lengthen the track or purchase new obstacle sections.
By choosing the modular Pumptrack option, the municipality of Saint-Mathieu has ensured that it can create a dynamic outdoor sports offering for its community.
