Kompan’s Dress-Up Wall with Mirror is an excellent story creator, inviting a wide range of play scenarios: store, make-up salon, kitchen. It is a great attraction for children, who play a lot. The table with the little flaps covering the holes, and the shelf underneath it, make for endless experiments and games, as you move the materials through the holes. This stimulates the child’s understanding of the permanence of objects: things may disappear from sight, but exist all the same, an important cognitive skill. The window, clock and bell stimulate language development. The mirror reinforces the child’s understanding of the individual and provides a great deal of pleasure. The play panel itself encourages social interaction and cooperation in dramatic and exploratory play.
