Our materials
SUSTAINABLY GROWN WOOD
- The Robinia wood and pine harvested for our products come from sustainable forestry.
- This means that the wood used is selected for harvesting and planting, and that the harvest is carefully controlled.
PLASTIC FROM THE OCEAN
- Over 640,000 tonnes of fishing gear are discarded into the ocean every year, the same weight as 55,000 buses.
- We recycle marine waste and use it in our products instead of virgin plastics.
TEXTILE WASTE
- Worldwide textile waste has increased by over 800%, from 1.76 million tonnes in 1960 to 16 million tonnes in 2015.
- As far as we’re concerned, it’s not waste – we use textile waste in our play poles.
