For the creation of the new Chibougamau-Chapais airport terminal, Atmosphäre’s expertise in seating was put to good use to create a waiting area worthy of the project, carried out in collaboration with EVOQ + Artcad architects.
Faced with ever-increasing traffic, a new terminal was needed for the Nord-du-Québec region to continue offering efficient service and a seamless experience to users.
The choice was Bernù seats by Arconas, a true airport classic from a proudly Canadian supplier. With its comfortable seat and optional armrests, Bernù is available in a wide range of finishes and configurations.
For the Chibougamau-Chapais terminal, a light wood finish was chosen to match the magnificent wooden curtain walls in the waiting area, which are made from wood sourced locally only a few kilometers from the airport!
There’s also a red-finish seat in each row, adding a touch of color to this bright and airy waiting room.
