The Promenade Rivia extension project is now complete! This unique space along the Saint-François River encourages physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits, while providing an outdoormeeting place.
Located between Parc des Voltigeurs and the Curée Marchand bridge, Promenade Rivia is a privileged link with downtown. Residents of Drummondville and beyond can come alone, with family or friends, to enjoy access to the banks of the Saint-François River.
Linking Parc des Voltigeurs to downtown via Pont de la Traverse or Pont du Curée Marchand, this walk is a fun way to discover Drummondville in a whole new light!
Multifunctional paths, landscaping, relaxation and exercise areas were laid out along the Saint-François River in Parc des Voltigeurs, complete with street furniture and lighting systems.
Atmosphäre set up a number of exercise and play stations along the trail, offering an array of stations where young and old alike can get into the swing of things while enjoying the enchanting setting of the river’s banks. The addition of Robinia wood fitness structures by KOMPAN offers a wide range of activities, while blending in with the natural surroundings.
