Respectful of nature
The verdant Zotique-Racicot Park, located in the heart of Montreal’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough, is much more than just a playground.
This project demonstrates our commitment to designing inspiring and functional public spaces, while promoting eco-responsibility and inclusiveness.
Eco-responsible playground: FSC®-certified Robinia range
Robinia wood and FSC® certification
With sustainability in mind, these playgrounds, dedicated respectively to 18 months to 5 years and 5 to 12 years, feature the Robinia range.
FSC®-certified Robinia wood (FSC® C012237) not only offers a unique aesthetic, but also demonstrates our commitment to sustainable forestry. This certification attests that the wood we use comes from responsible sources, reinforcing our eco-responsible vision.
Recycled materials in the Greenline range
Greenline: an eco-responsible approach
The Greenline range, present in both playgrounds, promotes the use of recycled materials. These elements, such as the crazy hen and the albatross, are designed using recycled materials, demonstrating our commitment to responsible resource management and a circular economy.
Playgrounds designed for inclusiveness and diversity
Commitment to inclusiveness
Inclusivity is at the heart of the design of Zotique-Racicot Park. The playgrounds are designed to provide a fun experience for all children, from 18 months to 12 years.
The absence of obstacles and raised concrete ledges, combined with the playground flooring, facilitates accessibility for people with reduced mobility, promoting an inclusive experience for all.
Design and engineering excellence
Creating inspiring living environments
The result of citizen consultation and fruitful collaboration with the local community, Zotique-Racicot Park transcends expectations and redefines the standards of public space design.
