First inaugurated in 1930, the Denise-Pelletier Theater underwent a facelift in 2011. The project, orchestrated by the architectural firm Saia Barbarese Topouzanov, won the 1st Jury Prize of the Ordre des architectes du Québec, in the Conservation and Restoration category.
The team relied on Atmosphäre’s expertise in cultural spaces to bring a touch of modernity while preserving the TDP’s cachet. Hussey Seating’s Quattro seat was soon the obvious choice for this ambitious project, thanks to its sophisticated design, high-quality materials, ergonomic comfort and unrivalled flexibility.
The Theatre’s 810 Quattro seats have been chosen with a number of distinctive options, both for user comfort and appearance, as well as for longevity and durability. These include
- 36″ backrests (2″ thick)
- Aluminum leg frame with footplate and armrests
- Herpa Scarlet fabric covering (Waterfall pattern)
- Aisle lights
- Graphite-colored polymer feet and armrests
- Standard aisle and row numbering
