In 2013, Atmosphäre installed Quebec’s very first Matchplay 2 synthetic surface in the schoolyard of Quebec City’s Saint-Michel elementary school, to create a multi-sports field.
This very first project for a 4-season multisports field quickly became the benchmark in the leisure sector. Used by the school, the city’s recreation department and the summer camp, it has been delighting thousands of users for over 8 years, 12 months a year.
École St-Michel made the most of this surface. Used at recess, during physical education classes, by the day-care service and during group activities involving all students (beginning and end-of-year celebrations, Olympiads, fairs, etc.), the Matchplay 2 surface has stood up well to its intensive use.
It’s also worth mentioning that a skating rink is installed evey year right over the surface during the winter months!
