Henri-Dunant Park

During the renovation of Laval’s Henri-Dunant Park, Atmosphäre undertook to create an eco-responsible and accessible playground.

The main objective was to design a playful space where everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, could take full advantage of the facilities.

Greenline structure: accessible and eco-responsible

Accessibility and inclusiveness

To achieve this goal, Atmosphäre has integrated an impressive Greenline play structure by KOMPAN.

This ADA-compliant structure features three integrated ramps leading to three spacious platforms, providing easy access for users with reduced mobility.

There are also several play elements accessible from the ground, four slides, a tic-tac-toe game and the intriguing spiral climber.

Eco-friendly recycled materials

This impressive play structure perfectly embodies our eco-responsible approach. Since it’s part of the Greenline range, it’s made almost entirely from post-consumer ocean waste, textiles and recycled plastics!

Robinia range: elegance and durability

Naturally eco-friendly materials

A notable aspect of this project is the use of sustainable and eco-responsible materials. The elements of the Robinia range, such as the horizontal net, the spring platform and the cottage with countertop, are made from Robinia wood.

This material combines elegance and durability, while minimizing environmental impact. Robinier wood is weather-resistant and easy to maintain, ensuring the longevity of the installations and contributing to the sustainability of the entire project.

Commitment to sustainability

Atmosphäre is committed to promoting the creation of sustainable and inclusive public spaces. That’s why we prefer to use materials from sustainable forestry, with FSC® certification (FSC® C012237).

All the wooden structures in this project are made entirely of certified wood.
