The gymnasium in the science pavilion at Cégep de Trois-Rivières has been given a makeover! In fact, in order to host various basketball competitions, the Diablos’ home needed more than just a coat of paint!
The existing wooden stands, dating from the 60s, had to be condemned, and were replaced by our telescopic Hussey Seating stands. At the cutting edge of grandstand and bleacher technology, they are durable, easy to use and, of course, comply with all current safety standards.
During the development of this project, the Diablos’ image was being revamped, so we took the opportunity to customize the stands to match their new image! To achieve this, we alternated 580 Courtside seats in the new team colors, red and white, to display the team name and Cégep logo when the stands are in the closed position.
The end-of-row seats are also decorated with the little imp, the team mascot! A retractable media tribune, fitted with a removable guardrail and conforming to standards, overlooks the whole. Also offered by Hussey Seating, this platform can accommodate commentators for tournaments, for example, or provide an ideal vantage point for capturing matches!
Together with the refurbishment of the playing surface, accessories and all spectator equipment, the Diablos’ new home is more than ever ready for action!
